KYLER FULLER
Kyler Fuller brings more than 25 years of experience playing and coaching soccer to the CRSA family and a passion for the game that hasn’t slowed down. Soccer runs deep in Kyler’s family. His father-in-law was the head coach of Benton Soccer for nearly a decade, and Kyler continued that tradition by earning his state high school coaching license and spending two years as an assistant coach at Benton.
A former goalkeeper and forward, Kyler has experienced the game from both ends of the field, giving him a unique perspective on what it takes to be a complete player. He has also spent several summers attending coaching clinics hosted by organizations ranging from Luther College to the Chicago Fire, continually learning new ways to help players develop their skills, build confidence, and take their game to the next level.
Kyler’s favorite part of coaching is watching players discover what they’re capable of both on and off the field. He believes growth happens when players are willing to step outside their comfort zone, take on challenges, and learn from their mistakes. He’ll push his players to try difficult and unfamiliar things while encouraging them to show up every day with a great attitude, a willingness to learn, and a desire to get better.
You’ll rarely see Kyler without a smile on his face, and he’s always ready to lend a helping hand. But don’t let the easygoing personality fool you, Kyler is fiercely competitive and loves the challenge of the game. He brings that competitive spirit, energy, and enthusiasm to every training session and game.
When he’s not on the soccer field, Kyler works as a Director of Construction for a development company in Cedar Rapids. Away from work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two children and, whenever possible, catching a Manchester United match.
