Eastern Iowa United, EIU, is a joint venture spearheaded by two historic and long-standing Eastern Iowa Competitive Soccer Clubs. ISC, based in Iowa City and CRSA based in Cedar Rapids have come together to provide this unique competitive experience. Both clubs are excited to work together to form a U13 and U14 boys’ team to compete in the Heartland division of the MLS Next Academy league.

Eastern Iowa United MLS Next Teams will provide the most dedicated, talented, and driven players in this area the opportunity to compete in the MLS Next Academy division against some of the top players in the Midwest. The MLS Next Academy division is the second highest competitive youth league in our country, trailing only to the MLS Next Homegrown Division.  Participation in the EIU will require significant commitment for training and travel which will likely exceed any commitment your soccer player has made prior to this time. Both CRSA and ISC look forward to this exciting project to establish Eastern Iowa United as one of the area’s premier places for player development and elite competition. We welcome any U13 and U14 boys at our tryouts who believe this is the right competitive fit and are willing to test themselves at what will surely be a very competitive tryout process.
